Dermaroller

Genuine Dermaroller™ is a procedure which enhances natural skin regeneration and repairs scarred, pigmented and sun damaged skin.

What does the procedure involve?

After applying an anesthetic cream to the skin, a Dermaroller™ device containing hundreds of microneedles is rolled gently over the problem area, e.g face, neck, thighs. Each microneedle penetrates into the dermis of the skin, approximately 0.1mm apart from one another.

With the use of topical anaesthetic cream, this is a pain free procedure.

How does it work?

After a Dermaroller™ therapy procedure, your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. As this occurs, new collagen is formed, skin cells are regenerated and blood supply is enhanced. The stimulation of the dermis to regenerate and repair itself naturally, creates smoother, brighter, healthier, younger-looking skin.

It is recommended that the Dermaroller™ therapy consists of a series of 3 separate procedures, approximately 6 weeks apart. In the treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary to extend your Dermaroller™ therapy.

After Procedure

Immediately after your Dermaroller™ therapy you will look as though you have moderate sunburn. This will start to subside after 1-2 hours and will normally recover the same day with only slight redness the following day. You will be provided with an after care pack which will include creams to soothe and calm the skin.
