Step 1: Lactic Acid Peel
A superficial peeling solution (pH 2.34), containing three ethanol based peeling agents, each with a unique treatment action. The results show a significant exfoliation and within days, smooth, revitalised and radiant skin. Containing a specialised high concentration Lactic Acid, this treatment allows the outer layers of dry skin to release and shed which in turn stimulates new collagen and elastin production, effectively diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. To achieve optimal results, it is best to receive up to 3 treatments a year.
Step 2: Daily Maintenance Renewal System
This take home treatment works synergistically with the Lactic Acid Peel, to create optimal therapy for fine lines, rough or scarred and sun-damaged skin. The system consists of a Cleansing Wash, Fruit Acid Exfoliant, Reparative Gel and a choice of Facial Moisturizers to suit your skin type. Used daily, it promotes smoothness, even coloration and continued gradual restoration of a more youthful appearance.
What ingredients to the products contain?
The Lactic Acid Peel solution contains three main peeling agents.
- Resorcinol- used as a peeling agent for over hundred years, promotes the exfoliating action of Lactic Acid for a deeper rejuvenating result.
- Salicyclic Acid- penetrates directly into skin follicles and opens sebaceous glands to eliminate wastes and eradicates the waxy build up associated with acne.
- Lactic Acid- Noted by dermatologists to act as a moisturiser, Lactic Acid is non toxic as it is naturally occurring in all skin. It acts to maintain the normal pH of skin and gently exfoliates without the irritation caused by some alpha hydroxy acid peels. Lactic Acid has also been shown to stimulate new collagen and elastin fibre production within the skin's basal layers.
The Daily Maintenance Renewal System consists of 4 products to be used daily.
- Cleansing Wash: a soap-free, fragrance-free, mild foaming gel to loosen oils, deposits and cellular debris. With a neutral pH, this product is perfect for all skin types. (Soft Cloth for application included)
- Fruit Acid Exfoliant: Containing only 10% lactic acid, this treatment prepares the skin for the Lactic Acid Peel and allows increased penetration and improved cell renewal.
- OPC Reparative Gel: Containing oligomeric proanthocyanadin (OPC) and proven to be the most effective free-radical scavenger (up to 20 times more effective than Vitamin C as an anti-oxidant), this gel protects, heals and repairs cells by inhibiting UVA and UVB radiation damage and immobilising free-radical oxygen molecules that attack skin cells. Water-soluble and oil-free, it reduces epidermal inflammation that causes tissue damage and reverses visible signs of aging by promoting the biosynthesis of new collagen. Acts as remarkable treatment for oily or acne prone skin, due to its ability to eliminate waste from the epidermis.
- Facial Moisturiser: This soothing daily face cream absorbs into the skin's basal layers leaving a final silky luxurious feel to the skin. Gentle or Enriched formula available.
